What happens in the parcel check?
You send your address through the contact form. We confirm whether the parcel is in the City of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas or unincorporated Clark County, read the zoning, note the lot size and check for an HOA. You get back a short list of casita types that look feasible.
What happens at the site visit?
We measure the yard and any garage or rooms you are considering, locate the sewer cleanout, water meter and electrical panel, and look at the route from the street for equipment. Then you receive a written, itemized quote and a schedule.
How does design and HOA review work?
- Floor plan and exterior designed to your HOA guidelines where they apply.
- HOA submittal and any revisions the association asks for.
- Structural, energy and mechanical design for the permit set.
- Finish selections locked in before filing.
How long do permits take?
It depends on the jurisdiction and the number of correction rounds. Block Renovation's 2026 Las Vegas guide suggests planning for about 4 to 10 weeks from submission to approved permits. HOA review, which often runs 30 to 90 days, usually comes first.
What happens during construction?
- Layout, trenching and footings
- Slab, framing and roof
- Plumbing, electrical and cooling rough-in, then inspection
- Insulation, drywall, stucco and finishes
- Final inspection and certificate of occupancy
We schedule each inspection with your jurisdiction and update you at every stage.
